I think it was a matter of time before the Cholera outbreak that in Haiti reaches the Dominican Republic. According to Haitilibre.Com, three Dominicans have been admitted to the hospitals due to the cholera symptoms. Most of these cases have been coming from the cities of Santiago, Moca and Barehona.

Now, I think it's about time that the two governments, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, join forces to fight this cholera outbreak

No matter how you want to look at it, Haiti and the Dominican Republic have common interests. More than Haiti, The Dominican Republic is likely to loose a lot more if in fact they become affected by the cholera outbreak. The country is a Vacation destination and they receive lots of visitors annually. This can inflict severe consequences to the economy.
