Chavannes Jeunes is a Haitian Christian leader who was candidate in the 2010 Haiti presidential election.
Chavannes Jeunes was born on December 29, 1953 in Morency, the 12th Communal Section of Les Cayes in Haiti. Son of Pastor Beauvil Jeune and Anne Fontaine, Chavane Jeune married to Marie Lucie Carisma and together, they have four children.He graduated as a civil engineer and is an organizer, administrator and Development Agent.
Jeunes is a pastor, evangelist and an influential Haitian Christian leader. His father was a pioneer of the Mission Evangelique Baptiste du Sud D'Haiti (MEBSH).
Chavannes has structured and consolidated the mission to serve Haitians of all ideologies, offering a variety of services in education, health, agriculture and finance to help the poor. He was able to provide these services by efficiently managing the funds received from the European Union, USAID, UNICEF and other funding sources.
Chavannes Jeunes participated in the 2005 Haiti Presidential election and was unsuccessful.
