There is new development in the nomination of Bernard Gousse for Prime Minister of Haiti. The "Haitian Joudalist" has learned that The International Bureau of Lawyers has filed a petition for the investigation of Mr. Bernard Gousse over the allegations of  persecution and false imprisonment of some of the supporters of former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

Bernard Gousse has been the subject of mounting criticism since his nomination for the post of prime Minister has made public. Some Human Right groups, as well high Haitian  officials have been very vocal in denouncing him for alleged abuse that occurred during his time as justice minister in the interim government of Gerard Latortue.
