The ABC News Network has obtained video showing four U.N. peacekeepers from Uruguay as they were sexually assaulting a young Haitian man. This footage that has become so popular among Haitians actually showed one U.N. soldier holding the Haitian man while they were assaulting him. This was recorded in Port salut via a mobile phone.

There are other allegations of sexual misconducts on the part of the U.N. soldiers in Haiti. Some  Uruguayan peacekeepers are also accused for sexual relations with another young Haitian females who had become pregnant.
U.N. has a history of widespread sex scandal. Recently, a French U.N. peacekeeper in the Congo videotaped his sexual abuse of young girls. Russian peacekeepers paid young girls with jars of mayonnaise and jam to have sex with them. U.N. peacekeepers from Morocco based in Kisangani are notorious for impregnating local women and girls.

Officials from U.N. stated that they will conduct an investigation on the allegation of Sexual abuse.
I do not know about you, but I have some issue with having U.N. investigating the sexual assault comitted on the Haitian youth. We are talking about the same U.N. that conducted an investigation after their MINUSTAH solders were accused of spreading Cholera in Haiti. That investigation revealed that MINUSTAH was not responsible, although every investigation thereafter concluded that they were in fact responsible for the spread of Cholera in Haiti.


One thing that U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has done to manage the new crisis in their hands with their soldiers in Haiti is to make a change of guard. Former ambassador and veteran French diplomat Herve Ladsous was appointed Friday to take on the high-profile job. U.N. He will be in charge of the peacekeepers in Haiti.
