Uruguayan U.N. peacekeepers held in preventive detention

The Uruguayan sailors who have been accused of sexually abusing an 18 year old Haitian man is now facing hard time at home. They face charges of disobeying orders and dereliction of duty and as a consequence are likely to be removed from the military dishonorably.
The Uruguayan U.N. peacekeepers returned home from Haiti on Friday, September 16, 2011 and were immediately held in preventive detention based on a judge order.
As you may remember, back in the beginning of September, 2011, ABC News Network obtained video showing four U.N. peacekeepers from Uruguay as they were sexually assaulting a young Haitian man. The alleged attack occurred on July 20 but only became public September when a video taken by cell phone was in circulation
