Herold Christophe has been living in the capital of Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, for nearly two decades. He has brought the Haitian music to the Latin American market. His first album Me Voici was released in 1985. In the same year he released another album, Una Mirada. Min Solution An, Manou, Tu Es Belle, Yo Ti Rega, Les Anciens Success are some other albums released by Christophe. Most of his album in early stage of his career was in France.
However, Herold Christophe started to sing in Spanish residing in Santo Domingo for quite a long time where he is a very popular singer both to Haitian and Dominican. Christophe also started shooting music videos in Spanish and took part in several TV programs after his music video went air. The part of his forst music video was filmed in Cap Haitien, the country of his origin. He also appeared in a series of live presentation on Dominican television.
Herold Christophe has performed in many live programs and concerts both in Haiti and Dominican Republic. He won the heart of people with his divine voice. Music in Spanish, in addition to in French, gave him more fame in Dominican Republic.
