United Nations wants Haitian deportation to stop

According to a spokes person for the United Nation high commission, Haiti is currently not in measure to provide for the basic needs of the people currently being deported. The UN would prefer that those scheduled to be deported be analyzed on a case by case basis for their ability to deal with the current condition in Haiti.
Almost one year and half after an earthquake devastated the capital, as many as 700,000 Haitians are still living under the tent. In addition the cholera epidemic has killed over 5000 people. The hurricane season is upon us and Haiti is not ready to deal with a major hurricane.
