Due to the current condition in Haiti, the United Nations is calling on some nations to stop Haitian deportation.
According to a spokes person for the United Nation high commission, Haiti is currently not in measure to provide for the basic needs of the people currently being deported. The UN would prefer that those scheduled to be deported be analyzed on a case by case basis for their ability to deal with the current condition in Haiti.
