The Bahamas is taking advantage of Haiti for its open and free immigration policy. We can actually say that Haiti, the land that welcomes them all.
There are many people born in the Bahamas that have been deported to Haiti. You probably say this not possible.
Not only it is possible, but this has been happening since Haiti signed the agreement with the U.S. According to the agreement, the United State is allowed to deport any Haitian citizen found guilty of a minor or major crime in the United states, after serving time in jail.

A child born in the Bahamas of Haitian mother who is in the country illegally, is also illegal and can not be awarded Bahamian citizenship. According to Bahamian law, these children remain Haitian citizens.
As it is the case for several families, they find a way to go and live in the United States. If these children commit a crime while living in the United States, they are deported not to the Bahamas where they were born but to Haiti instead.
Now, imagine a person who does not know anyone in a country like Haiti, does not speak Haitian Creole well. How do you expect someone like that to survive?
