One of the biggest winners after the 2010 Haiti earthquake appears to be Trinidad Cement Limited Group. According to report, the company recently received a deal to produce cement in the area of Varreaux in Port-au-Prince.
This is a golden opportunity for Trinidad Cement Limited as business is expected to be booming with the reconstruction effort, following the 2010 earthquake. Trinidad Cement Limited Group will be working with Haitian conglomerate WIN Group.
It is expected that this new cement company will contribute in creating a safer building environment in Haiti in the long run. Beside providing a steady flow of Cement and concrete in Haiti, Trinidad Cement Limited Group will work closely with the Haitian government to establish suitable building codes that can resist major earthquake or hurricane forces.
This is actually a big deal in every sense of the word. Can you imagine the extent of this agreement? This company will likely become the main producer of concrete for the country. One thing I know; many people will become rich as a result.
