Does Michel Martelly need to be more straight forward?

From what I take from this answer from my president elect, Michel Martelly, Haiti must have a Haitian military force. this is pure and simple. Now since we know Haiti will have a Military force, we should only concentrate on the shape of it.

I know that we will not have a Haitian military for the purpose of defending the border. If you don't believe me, when was the last time Haiti was involved in a war with another country?

So the conclusion is that we need a military force in Haiti just to protect us from one another. That sounds bad, doesn'it? if the objective is to protect Haitians against Haitians, than it is inevitable that we will be involved in the politic of Koko MakaK.

President-elect Michel Martelly thinks he can create a modern army in Haiti. How is that possible? He said that the new Haitian military will be involved in reconstruction. If their function would only be that, then I am all for it. However, that is not usually the case. If they will only involve in rebuilding, who will be providing security?

Ha hah.Ha Hah....

Unless we can become a better society, in that I make allusion to the following:

Where the majority of the Haitian citizens can read and right.

Where we understand the importance of respecting the law and each other

Where the Haitian military personnel does not believe that because he carry the gun, he is free to do whatever he/she wants
