Sylvio Cator was born on October 28, 1900 in Cavaillon. He was a Haitian football player who played for the Trivoli and the Racine Club Haitian. Mr. Cator won a silver medal in the long jump in the 1928 Summer Olympic in Amsterdam.
Stadium Sylvio Cator is a multi-purpose sport facility in Port-au-Prince with a capacity for 30,000 people. The facility was partly destroyed by the earthquake of January 12, 2010.
