Ingredients for making cremas: For preparing cremas, one needs about 2 cans of evaporated milk and four cans of sweet condensed milk. One can contain about twelve ounces of milk. Moreover you need a can of rich coconut cream. Never confuse this with coconut milk as these two things are entirely different. You need 1 tsp of vanilla extract and 1tsp of almond oil extract that has been obtained by crushing almond seeds. This extracts are useful to impart the flavor and the smell to the drink. Certain spices are required to enhance the flavor and the sweet refreshing characteristic smell of the drink. These are anise seeds, cinnamon powder, grated nutmeg pieces, lemon juice and scrubs. The 1st ingredient for cremas is one fifth bottle of 80% proof rum.
Method for preparing the Cremas- You need to mix all the ingredients mentioned above into a large sized bowl or pot. After uniform mixing of all the ingredients is achieved, pour the drink into tall or long glasses or tumblers. Then sprinkle grated or crushed ice pieces over the drink to enhance its appearance and look. Add a bit of grated nutmeg to garnish thereby completing the final decoration of this drink.
