The American actress and pop singer-songwriter Miley Ray Cyrus, known mainly in Haiti for

his role in the  in Hannah Montana sitcom has been doing a lot of good works in the

ravaged country. Recently, she has been to Haiti as the new school season starts to help

open a new school.
 

She had an opportunity to meet the Presidential family in Haiti, including Michel and

Sofia Martelly. She was presented in front of a group of Haitian children where she

performed a short song with the children. President Michel Martelly was on hand to assure

entertainment and to welcome the American star.


The appearance of Miley Ray Cyrus in the news recently has been dominated by the way in

which she has been acting, which would not be classified by many as too positive.
