The new President of Haiti, Mr. Michel Martelly, articulates his major speech at the 66th United Nation Assembly in New York. In the 14 minute speech, the Haitian president pointed out the help that Haiti received following the 2010 earthquake.

The President also talked about his objective to""". he focused on his four points of his government; on particular: Education, employment, environment and rights.

Under great applaud from the U.N. Members who were present, President Michel Martelly stated that: "As long as there are men and women of good intentions, hope is alive. as long as nations are united, hope is alive. Because in Haiti we experienced everything".
