In an in depth analysis about Haiti,Dr. Magha Keita Ph.D. explained why has been the poorest country in the hemisphere. How a country that was the richest French colony at one time became the poorest country. Dr. Magha Keita told us it is by design.

The presentation was done at Villanova University and is titled Haiti building back better. It is definitely a presentation that you need to listen to as it will help you understand why we Haitians have been in the situation that we are for so long.

Dr. Magha Keita also wants the audience to know what Haiti does mean and Haiti might have meant. The world does not know what Haiti is because western Historian do not talk about Haiti. The reason: The Idea of a free black man.

The Haitian revolution reverted the entire course  of the world, said Dr. Keita.

The complicity of France and the United States after Haiti fought for his independence.
