Michel Martelly by the investiture of his Prime Minister Garry Conille. This is after
five Months of negotiation and rejection of two previous Prime Ministers nominated in
the position.
There is a lot of expectation from this new government headed by Garry Conille. He took
the engagement to boost the Haitian economy to an average of 9 percent annually. In
addition, Conille pledged to resettle more than 600,000 earthquake survivors who are
still living in tent around the Haitian capital. Within the next five years, Garry
Conille promised to create over 1.5 million jobs.
