It is getting more and more evident that the next Prime Minister to be nominated by President Michel Martelly will be Garry Conille. The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Saurel Jacinthe, confirmed that President Michel Martelly has nominated the recent top aide to former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Mr. Garry Conille to be the next Prime Minister of Haiti.
Garry Conille is 45 years old with a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a doctorate from the State University of Haiti. He has been the top aide to former U.S. President Bill Clinton as the U.N. special envoy for Haiti. Garry Conille served in Ethiopia and, until June, in Niger.
