Rich in nutritional values and fits in perfectly into every salad preparation is the Haitian Avacado Salad. This salad recipe is very popular in Haiti and avocado contains vitamin B6, E, C, and other essential ions like folate, magnesium and potassium.  Avacado salad is also free from cholesterol and sodium. So, it is highly beneficial to all individuals. Avacado is an excellent source of mono unsaturated fat molecules and it contains about 60% potassium ions more than that contained in the bananas. So, not only this Haitian salad recipe is tasty, but it is very healthy as well.

Ingredients that go into making an avocado salad. Take two peeled and sliced avocado, one sweet onion chopped into thin slices, one chopped green bell pepper, one chopped ripe tomato and one fourth cup of chopped cilantro. Take lime juice extracted from half of a lemon. Spices include salt and pepper according to the taste. One fourth cup of pine nuts those heated till brown and parmesan cheese are other ingredients required to prepare the Haitian avocado salad recipe.

Method of preparation for Avacado Salad. Firstly, you should mix all the ingredients starting from avocado, onion, bell pepper, tomato, cilantro and lemon juice into a medium sized mixing or blending bowl. Gently toss the mixture into air till the mixture blends uniformly and gets coated. Add salt and pepper to taste in order to season the preparation. Garnish the salad before serving so that the salad recipe looks more beautiful.
