This annual Haitian event that takes place at Miami Bayfront Park annually presents a mix of many influences of the Haitian music. This includes Latin, Rhythm, Blues, Rap and Jazz.
At the 2011 Haitian Compas Festival, many of the hottest Haitian artists performed. Some of the Haitian artists who were present include: CaRiMi, Djakout Number one, Mika ban, King Posse, Kreyol La, Harmonik, and many others.
One popular Haitian that was not present was T-Vice. Even without the participation of popular Haitian band such as T-Vice. According to the the band manager, they could not participate in the 2011 Kompa Festival because of some conflicts.
