Michel Martelly putting more than 700,000 new students to school

The money that the Haitian government has been collecting by taxing money transfers and international phone calls to Haiti seems to be paying dividend. The president announced that his government is enrolling this year more than 700,000 youths into classrooms. The government is saying that thanks to this new funding, more than 142,000 students will go to school for the first time this year.
The problems of getting children to school and having schools and teachers for them are not small in Haiti. The 2010 earthquake has made thing worst.
President Martelly is on a mission to bring a better living condition to the people of Haiti. Providing access to education to a large number of children is how he intends to accomplish that.
